Breaking before HBC

I recently bought a steer, and I am attempting to have him broke for Hoosier Beef Congress. He is broke to tie but still skidish when I'm in front of him. I know it may be a stretch to pull this off considering I only have a month and a half. But I was hoping to get some tips to speed the process up. I have a donkey but not quite sure if that was the best route to go. I'm also looking for a double blower system for sale.

In a month and a half you should be fine, the key is consistency, patience, and a positive attitude. Work with him daily, tie, rinse and groom, the more you handle them the better they get.
