Bred Shorthorns Wanted

Thanks to all who replied on post about needing a Shorthorn bull.  I have a Grey Goose son coming from Cory Schrag.  I am now looking for a few bred Shorthorns to buy.  I would like to buy in Indiana or surrounding states.  My price range is around $1500.  I would prefer them to be out of good genetics and bred AI for Jan to April '09.  Thanks in advance for any replies.

  I take it you have not found any cows yet. I just came from a sale where most bred three/four year old (average age) cows AI bred brought a solid $3500 to $5000 average. They were black. They only horn brought $4000.  That sure makes  $3000 for the pair look good.    They will pay for themselves at that price.
