Breeding Decisions:Picking a Mating Popular for a Sale Vs. Inherd Decision?

I would try to breed her so that she will calve easy and breed back ASAP.    May I suggest an Angus bull that will sire a steer or steer making heifer

toni you obviously must be getting a big break from class today,   personally i would breed her to a longhorn bull of my neighbors i could get semen on for you, he may throw some color with that irish wihisky in that heifer.  it is important to just get a live calf the first time on a high dollar heifer, then start making these educated decisions.

Tell you what, you get her old lady confirmed to Longhorn and I think about it!

I used Gigolo Joe this year on a few heifers after talking to Brad Nelson about him, a Money Man and a couple purebred Angus. I've got high hopes for the calves. Guess we'll find out in spring.
