Your assumption on the Red Angus steers in TX is wrong. I know for a fact the Champ at Houston about 3-4 yrs ago was a Dr Who. I've sold polled red calves whose owners ran them RA and got in and placed. Yet - a really good true RA at SA got sifted two weeks ago. They arent any different than any other breed.
