general observations you should know about club calves:
if the neck is too short it will be worse at 1300 lb
if the front leg straightens out before it hits the ground the same is true
if the angle of the shoulder is too steep the same is true
if he doesn't put the back foot in the front track the same is true

if none of the above apply and an April calf is not a holdover because nobody wanted it for a fall show, the calf might work with proper feed and care.
