I've been blessed with the opportunity to show a shorthorn plus heifer this year from a good family friend after years of dicking around with Holstein feeders. Our county and state fair rules only allow other exhibitors and family to work on calves pre show.. My dad couldn't hardly tell which way is forward on club calves.. And some close show friends are also in the heifer project so I'll have minimal help their. This calf has crazy color, she's got red and blue roan, solid white in places, and silver. Her legs are a very very dark blue roan, from a distance it looks black, with some white spots. What are the best products to use one her? Make card board cut outs for the white spots and just use a dull black? Opinions appreciated
