Sorry for bad pic first of all. This is a purebred shorthorn cow that we purchased from BSCattle at the NCC and she calved yesterday to a calf sire by a easy-calving purebred bull (good calf). Well I'm already thinking next year! So I wanted to know what you think will go best with her. She is very straight topped and wide, square hipped, and good depth to body, however she is a little posty-legged but she is THF. Was thinking Tiger Woods for her but what do you think? Bull must have great structure and soundness and be THF. Thank you.  <cowboy>

i could see yellow jacket or tiger woods working on her. yellowjacket will keep em sound but is known to throw a hard feeder calf. captian morgan is a good one also. very sound calves and the bull is sound in person

I would suggest going with another Shorthorn bull that has decent calving ease. You may not want to take a chance on a high bw clubby bull on the second go around. Another PB Shorthorn would give you more consistency in the calf and hopefully another live, quality calf.
Oh yeah, I would suggest ALM Chiller. He makes them fancy, long necked, clean fronted, and balanced. Have had decent calving ease success with him also.

What is Captain Morgan for calving ease? Also what color of calf would you say if would come out if I went Captain Morgan route?
