Will they be taken to slaughter to verify accuracy?

We're they randomly picked based on spread of results?

Was there any inside marker information to cushion the results?

I didn't design the contest. I think they were selected so they could give as large as spread in results as possible.
The people who designed the contest knew the GeneMAX scores before they selected the class.

i know that's probably what they did.

i just wish they would do more.

what do you think about circular rna?

Honestly, I don't know anything about circular RNA. There was one talk at Biology of Genomes about it, but I didn't follow it. My research is much more population genetics than functional genetics.
