I had a calf born yesterday and I can't say I have seen this issue before. One one her back legs has more flexibility than I have seen. She can actually bend her hock a little bit the opposite direction. I'm hoping that she will just come out of it but like I said I haven't seen this before. I will try and get a picture up tomorrow.

Yes she will grow out of it. As long as she can get up and move and nurse it will straighten out.

What is the breeding on the calf. We have had a lot of bojo offspring do this to us.  Some so severe that they can't  stand at all. They always grow out of it though.

Had a Manchild heifer born in '11 that did the same thing, thought if she made it to weaning I would be lucky.I showed her,and other than a bit big,the judges always commented on her perfect structure.Yes she will grow out of it.
