My aunt just passed this June from breast cancer, and out of all the pink show supplys, blowers, show sticks, brushes haulters, a pink calf isn't something I don't have. This post made my day! (thumbsup)
Pretty cool pic!!! After having fought cancer for the past 2 years I had my 1st set of scans on Sept.1st that came back showing no signs of cancer. I do a recheck on Nov.29th . Crossing my fingers & saying my prayers. Met some pretty courageous people while doing my radiation treatments . It's a pretty humbling experience & sure makes you not take anything for granted.
That is just great news! I'll say a silent one for you.
I lost my mother almost six years ago and have been promoting testing and research since that time. I used to run demo derbies and devoted my last car to the Susan G Koman Foundation and the American Cancer Society. We sold shirts and raised about $2500 for the groups.
We live right on a well-traveled highway and get lots of comments about our Belties. People often stop and take pix or just look at the Belties. This should encourage even more photographs and discussions.
Belties make me smile too and this baby reminds me of a Hostess Sno Ball (remember those funky chocolate cakes shaped like a half ball covered with pink marshmallow and coconut??) - great job
Doc will be thinking about you and wishing you well...
Very cool! Put it on my facebook page so more people could see it! Congratulations Doc! Hope things keep going well for you. My sister in law has battled breast cancer 3 times. She has been clean for 10 years now.
