Calves in the Rain????

Have you guys ever had a calf born in the rain? I'm curious it popped into my head cause it is raining here tonight

on my grandpas old farm he had calves born in the rain i only have one cow that just had her first calf and will have 3 cows next year (if nothing happens hopefully not)

We have calves born in the rain all the time and they are just fine. Its not any fun when you have calving problems during the middle of a rain storm! We have had several over the years born during hurricanes and tropical storms so those we always name after the storms they were born in.

Ours always think it is a great idea to calve in big snow storms! Good thing we have barns!
