Best heifer bulls are ali, a couple of ante up sons, and there is an angus bull called thunder that has some pretty impressive data for a heifer bull

I have never had a big Shiver.  Being that he is a Shiver out of a first calf Paddey O Malley and was born unassisted, I would guess he is safe to try.  I think his birthweight is only like 77 lbs.  He was one of my favorite bulls in the may show circuit

shiver is a good bull to use. the calves don't grow much on the milk, but the one we have now is eating feed and looks REALLY good.
