Lots 34 and 35 topped the Cagwin sale at 8,000 each.  I didn't get the average, sorry.  I thought Don had a very good set of cattle, wide variety of genetics, something for everybody.  I thought a lot of the cattle sold for under the money.  There may not have been a national champion show heifer in the group of heifer calves, but they were a solid set all the way through and a lot of people missed a chance to add a good female to their herd.  There were some very good bred females, too, that are going to make their new owners some money.  The lot 36 Rodeo Drive cow was as good a Rodeo Drive female as I've seen in some time and she brought 2,000.  I know some of you don't like Rodeo Drives, but she was a good cow.  If you want a complete list, let me know and I can post it later when I have more time.  My congratulations to the Cates family on their sale.  WOW!

The Sonny bull brought 15K and went to WHR, Simon, and Robinette. The King Kong bull only brough 6500 but he didn't look as good sale day probably because of the heat and how much hair he had.
