Canadian Border closed for Exports ?

My ABS rep told me yesterday that as from two days ago nothing can come out of Canada. Anyone know any thing about this or is it an excuse for not filling my order.

I hope the reason is because of the impending Canadian postal strike.

I have not heard of anything ??? I just googled Alberta Beef Producers, Canadian Beef Breeds, Canadian Cattlemen's Association,Canadian Food Inspection Services(CFIA) and Canadain Cattle Identification Agency)CCIA) and none of their sites mention anything. Of course if it was closed it would be an Aussie agency decision. Anyways I sure hope not, been there got the T shirt and the design sucks

In the past two days I have spoken with two AI studs about shipping semen from Canada to Australia. Both told me they did not have any shipments going to Australia for a few weeks but both said they would have the semen in Australia by mid July. I would think that if there was some border issues, they would have mentioned it to me.  But then, anything is possible when it comes to bureaucracy!

Thanks everyone. It does not sound right to me either as I am waiting for some eggs to come over with a different company  and they have not said anything. Pleased you are sending semen over JIT you are making it cheaper for me  <beer>
