here's a video of my neighbor tearing it up at sears point.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-v8jGus7H4

it's a 66 mustang completely rebuilt by hand with a 351cleveland that's probably around 400ci and street legal.

been featured in car craft a couple of times.

i hate him because basically his wife supports/pays for all this crap.  well, he pays for it, and nothing else.

i love it when he's accelerating and the guys in front of him are braking.

that one guy who passed him at the end has some serious hp.  i think ray's has about 600 so that viper has to be pushing 800 unless he was just cruising which it didn't sound like it.

you can really tell about the gearing for the different turns.  he's designed his gearing and torque curve for this race track.

Great video knabe!  Now that I have no cattle, my passion is classic muscle cars.  I'm trying to buy the 1968 Plymouth GTX 440 magnum I had in high school.  It's sitting on blocks, and I have offered twice what I paid for it new.  A little about my current project:  I hope to have my '69 Mustang street ready by the end of March, but I'll be racing only in a straight line.  I've "Stroked" the 302 to 347 which will turn 475HP.  I have pictures showing the before restoration, and a little of what's happened since.  The coil over suspension with disc brakes is wicked.  Aftermarket parts for these cars are crazy.  The rubber seals, and weatherstripping alone was $400.  Mine won't be anything like your buddy's, but it will be exactly like it I want it.
