Anyone have any personal hands on experience with using Carney Man on virgin heifers. I don't mind pulling live calves, but don't like pulling dead ones or tearing up heifers. Any info will be appreciated. Brent

I have some bred that way for this fall.  I remember in a Exposure catalog there being a writeup stating that the CM daughters in the sale were all calves unassisted from a set of 3yo heifers.  The ones I've had out of cows all came w/out any troubles.

I helped a friend pull one out of a virgin hefier a year ago! Pretty tough pull! Most on cows for us have been lite BW!

We've used him on a few ohlde bred heifers and had good success.  I don't think we ever pulled one, and I know we never lost any.  I can look tonight and see what the birth weights were.

I think if you look at the Collins Exposure catalog you can get a good idea of Carney Man's calves.
