I think he should have absolutely no problem classing hereford. Pretty nice Herf steer calf. As far as the toeing out, not only is it not a concern, it is perfectly normal and probably good from a soundness standpoint. If you questiong what I am saying, next time you are standing around just naturally, glance down at your feet, chances are you toe out slightly. Also, chances are that if your feet naturally point straight ahead you probably either already do or will in the future have knee pains and knee problems. The slight toe out actually provides some cushionning for the knees. Same goes in cattle. Unless it is really severe so as to affect the stride then I am not at all concerned with a calf toeing out slightly, I am much more concerned with one that toes in.
