most clubby type cattle toe out a little in there front end.. down at the Louisville show allot of the fat steers had there front feet toed out so to me on a steer its not a big deal...and he is a really good bodied steer, he will get even deeper bodied right before you ween him and you will love him. my carpe hiefer was really shallow bodied and not allot of hair until about a 2-3 weeks before we weaned her and she took off

my carpe diem is the same i just had a little kid riding her actualy haha and it helps that she is out of a cow that i never had to break to lead she just followed you lol

going to breed the cow back to red rock my semen man already had that in the tank with him the other day so no shipping cost  (thumbsup)lol. has  anybody had any experince with some red rock calves seen some stout pics of some calves glovers had i think?

I think he should have absolutely no problem classing hereford.  Pretty nice Herf steer calf.  As far as the toeing out, not only is it not a concern, it is perfectly normal and probably good from a soundness standpoint.  If you questiong what I am saying, next time you are standing around just naturally, glance down at your feet, chances are you toe out slightly.  Also, chances are that if your feet naturally point straight ahead you probably either already do or will in the future have knee pains and knee problems.  The slight toe out actually provides some cushionning for the knees.  Same goes in cattle.  Unless it is really severe so as to affect the stride then I am not at all concerned with a calf toeing out slightly, I am much more concerned with one that toes in.

i totally agree the feet the feet thing twistedshow you dont stand around with your feet straight forward thats right.
the calf is a carpe diem x 1/2sim 1/4 angus 1/4 hereford cow that is small framed

Don't know too much about classifying but looks hereford to me! Nice looking steer
