Cattle Oiler\Scratcher

I was just wondering what everyone puts in their cattle oilers\scratchers that are out in the pasture?  I am from Saskatchewan and a bottle of scratcher fluid sells for around 60 bucks from the coop.  Just wondering what people may add to make it go farther. Thanks

We use a mix of deisel fuel and permectrin/permetherin? (or other cheap fly control product). The diesel stretches it out longer. We used to have huge problems with pinkeye before, but don't have near as many fly and pinkeye problems now. I am sure that there are many different methods and it depends on the oiler, but that has worded for us.
