Charolais Heifer Calf...Opinions

Here is a picture of my heifer calf that was just born last Friday...She is a WR Wrangler out of a TR Firewater cow...She was around 75 lbs when she was born...Also have my Gerrard Montezuma heifer bred to him...Let me know what you think of her...Thanks

Nice calf. Seems like it should have all the pedigree you could ask for in a char right now!

Can you post a pic of the Montezuma daughter? My sister bred her Char cow to him for spring, so I am curious what the concensus is on his calves is.

Nice calf. I finally ordered some Char. semen in here this fall for next year. It's been right @ 42 years since I last used anything Charolais. The smoke's @ Aksarben finally talked me into it so to speak. The 2 bulls that I am going to try are Troubadour & Firewater.

thanks for the compliments..i have a pic of her on here from a show in april this year...just type in gerrard montezuma and under the charolais heifer you will see a pic of her in the chute...i really like those firewaters...her mom is a very easy keeper and short, deep and stout...im going to be using him next year

here are a few updated pics from this week i took...also posted a pic of her dam...we are breeding her to wrangler again and then throwing her out with the herd bull which is a 3/4 sib to Monopoly to clean her up

We just order 10 doses of WR WRANGLER W601, do you thing he will be a calving ease bull for heifers?

His epd's and accuracies indicate that he should be, I'm waiting on 2 heifers to calve to him in about 2 weeks so I'll be able to report then.

This was her second calf and she was not big at all...i have my heifer bred to him to calve in April...excited about that one also!
