Will outdated CIDRs still be effective? I'm going to have to get a new pack, but hate to have to buy another pack for just four more. College student and funds are tight. Also, I have been time breeding non responsive cows at 66 hours post CIDR removal with moderate success. Does anyone else have a different/more successful TAI protocol?

The out dated cidrs will still be good. Don't worry about that. I think that you may be rushing the non responsive cows a little. I usually breed non responsive cows @ 84 hours past. Others hopefully will chime in. Brent

I think the CIDRs should still be fine. For TAI the protocol says 72-84 hr.

The component that makes CIDRS work is progesterone. This is a hormone that does not last forever.  I would NOT use CIDRS more than twice, and never after the label says they expire.
