I'm going to sync a few cows for breediing starting next week.  I have a few "once-used" cidrs that have been stored in a rubbermaid tub.  Would you use these or buy all new ones?  I didn't know if not being sealed in their bag would hurt them.

Our guy says to wash them good with warm soapy water...NOT disinfectant. Disinfecting them can dilute or damage them if you plan to use them again. I have reused some that were cleaned with disinfectant and i got along ok. It makes sense to me not to soak them or leave them in a disinfectant too long. I just put some in today that were used last fall and just cleaned, not disinfected.
