Club Calf Start Up

Ok so I have some recip cows lined up, pasture lined up, barn lined up, now I just need to know where to look for some of the best maternal genetics via embryos to start a herd with.  Suggestions?

If you are just starting a herd, look for F1 matings. Simmental/Angus or Maine/ Angus or some purebreds of any breed to start then when you have a herd of cows use the 3 way clubby bulls. Stay away from steer mates as cows. Poor milk, high birth weights and then you limit your choices of bulls later.
