clubby cow flush

I am looking to buy a flush on a very succesful clubby female. She needs to be exceptional and proven. Anyone have one for sale?

Our hereford appearing heatseeker donor might be just what you are looking for, she has never been flushed before but has definately proven herself in the pasture. Last month we sold 1/2 interest on her to a texas buyer to produce hereford marked calves. We sold her Dr. Who heifer calf this year for quite a chunk of change at only 18 days old. She is profiled excellent, amazing hair and bone, milks like a champ, and throws lots of color. TH carrier. Let me know what you think

I posted a picture of this cow a few weeks ago. Right now she is a recip here, as she came from a transplant center with an embryo in her. She is due to calve anytime. One calved tonight with a Dunbeacon Venture X Prairie Lane Sparkle  heifer calf. Another is starting to calve as we speak ( which is why I am still on SP) and this cow should calve soon. She also has a Venture heifer in her from Sparkle. These are Shorthorn calves if you are wondering.

This cow is quite amazing in that she is a small tank. Huge butt, and so thick she will not go through my chute which has handled some pretty big bulls in the past. I think she is about as sound made as she can be for being such a tank. She also has a great udder. From what the transplant center told me , she is Red Angus X ( Shorthorn /Charolais) . She is polled to boot. I like this cow enough that I am planning on flushing her a few times through this fall and winter.... and then I will have to decide whether she gets another embryo or becomes a full time donor. I think she is worth the gamble or I would not even consider flushing her.

She is an X-Ray Vision out of an 11 queens cow.  We showed her in 2006 and did very well with her, winning all the local county fairs and second at Jr nationals and Louisville. We sold her steer last year for 4500 and she has another one this year that has already been spoken for. Let me know what you think.

I just have to comment on these two.  That is a stellar pair. Tremendous potential, IMO. Is there still a Chiford program?

I would think if you wanted a Hereford steer to compete, flushing this girl might be the ticket.

Thanks Telos, as you probably know we are very proud of them. They do not qualify for Chiford, not enough hereford in them i dont think. Even if your goal is not hereford appearing show cattle, her other calves have also been stellar. They always have the look, hair and stoutness to compete.

Chiford- ACA cattle known as “Chiford” are eligible for registration based upon *any mating between Fullblood Chianina, Chiford, Hereford, or Polled Hereford, registered with the American Hereford Association

The way I read that is either the sire or dam would have to be a Fullblood Chianina (or already registered as a Chiford).  They aren't as liberal with the chiford registrations as with the chi-maine or chi-angus.  Since the hereford books aren't open to other breeds a chiford would have to be only chi and hereford... nothing else in the mix.  Not that there is a lot of chiford breeders out there.

Have found a donor yet??? I Got Several A Red Angus she works good on clubby, and i got a kadabra X red angus we showed her she was really good A Roan Shorthorn that was shown and won a lot. and also another shorthorn cow. They all have been flushed and have done great to improve are herd.
