Thanks for posting the coat color website. I've studied it before and its excellent. I got into a "discussion" with our vet once. He thought the white shorthorns were caused by interbreeding with Char-bred cattle. I explained to him that the white was caused by two completely separate genes in the the two breeds and he didn't believe me until I showed him a printout from this website and another one that I found at the time.
Handy reference piece to have.
Has SteerPlanet ever thought about putting together a "library of reference articles"?? Just a thought--maybe its already on here somewhere and the Iowegian just hasn't found it yet!!

It's a good idea Oakbar. Trouble is there is such a wealth of information it would be hard to pick & choose.
