The thing they don't bring up in any media is that your crime rate goes up significantly. In my county where we have uncontrolled so called medical use our murder rate has went from 1 every 3 years to 2 a year and every one of them in the past 3 years has been due to drugs not just pot but meth too. My family has been a victim of this crime and there is no way in H*!! that I will vote for this stupid arse initiative. Yes I understand that there are cases that it can and does help people with sickness and I wouldn't want to see those people denied a drug that helps them. But they have a legal way to obtain the drug.

The way the medical marijuana law is right now the Feds will not assist our local law enforcement at all, they cannot prosecute anyone for having pot because all they have to say to the judge is that they just haven't received the medical card yet or they just have not applied for it yet and it gets thrown out of court.

So if you think this ballot initiative is good for Colorado don't cry when one of your family members are killed by some doped up screw ball that is high on marijuana!

While that is a Tragedy. I'm sorry that has happened to you and your family. Was that the only drug the creep was on? I will respect your stance from what has happened to. Hell I'd hate it to if I lived what you lived. That is a exception. Without knowing all the details nor do I want to. I will not change my views on this topic. I've lived it for 20 years all around me. I'm sorry again about your sister. That's awful. Hard to debate my side after this. So l will drop it.
