I never had a chance to meet Vance. However, I have bred to the bulls that they raised for years with great success. It goes without saying that he was a great cattleman and will be missed in the Angus industry.

It was Vance’s wish that there be no funeral service. Vance’s wish was for the time you would spend attending his funeral, you spend that time doing a good deed for someone else.

My condolences to the family.
Received the TC catalogs for the last 5 or 6 years. Never attended a sale but Vance had to be one heck of a cattleman with that herd bull battery and cowherd.

I love the part where they say What he was most proud of in his life were the Bulls he raised that were used all over the country! From Dividend to Stockman 365 to Freedom to Total to Grid Iron to Grid Topper, He will be appreciated for a long time!
He will be missed! I love the freedom cattle and the 365 cattle! I will never forget the year I took my Cousin with me to Denver and he was not a fan of Angus! We walked by the Carload show and I pointed to a bull in the Carload show and he said wow, no way in hell that's an Angus! The bull was TC Freedom!

I worked several of TC's bull sales and also worked for them out of highschool. They are a great family, and Vance was a great role model. He will definately be missed, but he was suffering a terrible amount in his final days.
