Bob Gassman in S Dused Contagious quite a bit successfully a few years ago.  They were big boned, soggy and hairy.  They could be colored up some as well.

I saw a couple darn nice ones the first year out on Contagious. I used him the 2nd year and was pretty dissapointed with the results.  not enough power for my cows and just avg bone.  calves had enough body but not enough look or power for me on my cows. I think he has his place but didn't work for me.  I believe he is dirty for both.

I ever promote another bull i think i'll go down to coyote ugly's on thursday nite and get me some barmaid gal to stand by the bull on fri. and sat.  It definitely helps.

This is our Ace in the Hole heifer.  Our first calf out of him, out of a Pale Face dam. 

Ace is an Easy Out calf - but the birth weight of this calf was well over 100#.

If I aint mistaken those 3 bulls are all full sibs out of the same flush. I read that sometime around the 1st of the year on one of the owners websites.
