Actual flush cost: $220-300
Drug cost for flushing: 100-125
Freezing embryos: 40-75 (some have max's) I would go with most experience over cheapest here!!
Implanting embryos: 40-75
Cow care if a facility: 5-8 per day

Sync recep's: $15-20 not counting heat checking time.

Price varies a lot. Expensive doesn't mean good, nor does cheap mean good.

We have been flushing 2 cows.  It cost us $350 per flush and $25 per embryo.  Donor boarding was $5 per day.

Yes, AJ, you can take them receps from your herd and they can sync them and put embryos in them. But a word of caution (from experience)
Either move them right away (after putting embryos in) or wait 45-60 days (preferably 60-75 days).  That time between is when the embryo is looking for a home (place to implant) and is in a fragile state. That fragile state can cause the embryo to be lost.

  My guy charges
1) flush - $300
2) board- $4.50/day
3) freeze - $50 each, anything over 10 - $25 each
4) implant - if he froze them $50, if he didn't freeze them $100 to implant

The best part is, from my barn to his barn is 25 miles one way.

Cross Country Genetics is:
Flush-including drugs 350.00
Freeze 150.00 per day no limit on number or donors frozen, I think it is 400.00 a day if they come to my house
Transfer 50.00/embryo
We do our own set up work and take them there or they come here so I'm not sure what board is these days.
If they have a flush with nothing produced, there is no charge, that's called standing behind your work!

I'm not sure on Cowboy's rate or if they vary so I'll let him answer that one.

Jill,

Cross Country Genetics is a great place.  I used to work for a cooperator herd that they put a lot of embryos in and they've put quite a few in for me.  They truly are great people and very professional!
