Cost for logo

For those of you who have had logo's done for your farm, ranch or business, what was the approximate cost?

For those of you who have not had logo's done what would you be willing to pay?

What does everyone think would be a fair price?

There's a lot of variables there.  Size, Color simplicity etc...  Couple hundred at most regardless

I emailed a local college and had their graphic design ag communications class do it as a competition.  I have done this for my farm as well as a couple of my other business.  I explained to the class what I do and gave them a little direction and was very pleased with the results. I had several options and just picked the one I liked best. Then I made a $100 donation to the class and I think the professor got everyone lunch.

As XBar said, it really depends on how complex you want it... I myself am just starting out and it would range anywhere from 80-150 depending on the complexity of it all.
