(lol)
I have been soo busy I cannot see straight!
To Garybob.... Teaching is going well.... FFA is very time consuming.... JoAnn is finding out just how much her old partner did... He was young single and had no life so he did a whole bunch that she now has to do or delegate to me simply because I do not know that they need done.... I then come home and work half the night in the barn on breaking calves.. training my new pups or putting out any fires that pop up... I also had to enroll at a Rio Grande University for some edu courses... so I am jugling that ball as well... I don't get to see my cows very much anymore and I miss them....
HEY we did make the cover of the SC!!! .... have justme take a look at that hat!!! JoAnn loves that thing..... She looks good in pink.... Infact JoAnn is in alot of the shots that Amanda used...... Luckily you have to hunt to find me in most of the shots..... " I am the guy standing behind Les Mathers on the cover..... That is the way I like it... I am not fond of pictures.
We have a really cute picture of Kayla Bigham in that pink S&J Cattle hat.
That Shorthorn University trip was really great.... I plan to go next year for sure... had so much fun... Turned familiar faces to first name basis and that is always a good thing.... met several new people... the Sneeds from Missouri were a super nice couple to meet.....if the Su comes to Ohio I sure would like to host a stop... The evening at Troy and Sommer Smith's was awesome.. good food good cattle...
American Muscle is doing very well...... had 3 out of state visitors in one week... thats a record here!!!! Les Mathers from Ill. Mike Tenebaum from Va. and Tom & Linnette Jessie from Western WVa all made the trip to come see the bull.. and the SC ad is starting to pay off with several other semen orders on my desk to be shipped out......
Anyone going to the Farm Science Review next week needs to stop by lot number 969... I will be there advertising S&J CAttle Co and will have American Muscle on display along with some of my Hangin Tree Cowdogs and a display for the Buckeye Cowdog Ass'n
When you get tired , stop in and sit a spell.....
