Anyone seen any calves out of the hereford bull crossfire?

I have used him. Use him on clean fronted cows.  Makes good haired thick Hereford steers! We showed one two years ago that did well.

I have only seen a couple of them. I don't really know a lot about him. He tends to sire moderately framed hairy cattle that are pretty round made. Champion Hereford Heifer at Iowa State Fair this year i heard was out of him.

I know there was a heifer calf at World Beef Expo that was out of him that seemed to be a little small but was good haired and had good length.

I think I would use him to sire steers more than heifers. If you are after heifers, I personally think there are better options to use.

I agree that Crossfire probably does a better job making steers than heifers. I had three full sibs born this year from a Midas cow I had flushed a couple of years back. The steer looks pretty cool with nice hair and should show well. The 2 heifer calves will probably not have the frame to compete as well. They were both well muscled and hairy, though.
