I just saw in the new Genex catalog that About time died. Does anybody know what happened? He was a fairly young bull that was really getting popular last summer siring both sale toppers and national show winners. We used him very extensively last summer, breeding most of our first calf heifers to him.

Do you think the semen price will go up much on him soon? Genex just says on limited semen will be sold in 2011.

He's been dead for quite awhile--I have no idea what happened to him.
I would guess there may be a son to replace him pretty soon--I haven't heard of a run-up in semen price.

That's not good.  I have seen some good cattle out of him.  I had planned on AI-ing my  Galloway X Angus replacements to him.  Better get it ordered soon.

If you click on the White Cattle Co ad in the upper left hand corner, there are a couple of really great looking bulls sired by About Time. Looks like one will be sold @ the Nebraska Cattleman's Classic.

Happened on pasture in ND. They had the vet out, two days later he was hooves up. Wasn't for sure what was wrong.
