Hello All!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! I am just looking to see if anybody has pictures or comments about Daddy's Money calves.

Thank you!

I looked up the catalog on the Griswold sale that happened on the 19th of December and a lot of the bred heifers were bred to either Daddy's Money or Gold Standard (Angus). Yes I know that Griswolds own both bulls but to me that says a lot about how they feel about the two bulls as calving ease bulls.  Plus they won't be throw away calves either.

I wish I had some pictures for you.  I'd like to use Daddys Money myself.

I bred my best to Daddys money and have quite a few due in the next few months, after seeing that bull in person in Denver I think hes something special. Hes deeper bodied then his sire and that bull moves with such authority its impressive. I have bred some simmentals, shorthorns and maines to him, excited to see what I get.

I would call him calving ease, although I had a big one out of a THC cow. I got 68 & 72 pound heifer calves out of a 2 and 3 yr old. The calves have good rib shape and capacity, correct rear leg set, clean fronted, and decent hair. I am a bit disappointed with the amount of muscle the calves carry.

I think there were a limited number of Daddy's Money calves in fall sales this year compared to how much of them got used last year. Never a good sign.

Had a bull calf out of a first calf heifer on 4/24/15 weighed 70lbs. Currently weighing 850lb

We have only had 3 so far, all heifers out of a Monopoly, All About You, and a Who Made Who cow.  On average they are coming 8 days early and ranging from 65 to 70 lbs at birth.  No complaints so far as far as how they look, but it's very early.  We'll see where they are at by mid summer.  We have a few more to come by him and I'll use him again along with I-80 on our THC cows.  We used him on the WMW cow, because she tends to throw bigger birth weight calves.

Had first DaddysMoney calf this afternoon. Was a 75pound hfr out of a first calf rw maine hfr. Will post pics of them tomorrow. Very nice little girl

What is he working best on?  What is he doing to frame size?  I like the bull, I am just trying to figure out what is best to use him on besides just calving ease.

I just had my first one, born at 274 days. 75 pound bull calf out of a 2nd calver. Too early to tell much, but he was up fast, strong and healthy so that's all that matters right now.  I have one more due March 9.

Cellphone pictures at 6 days old on my first little Daddy's Money bull calf.

Here is a photo of my second Daddy's Money calf, a 65 pound heifer, born 5 days early. She's about a week old in this photo. Both calves are filling out nice at a few weeks old. It's been sloppy wet here the last few weeks, hopefully once it drys out a bit I can get some updated photos.

Had my first Daddy's Money this afternoon.  I fried him on a 6 yr old final answer x hannibal and the bull calf hit the due date and he may need some twinkies for him to weigh 40#'s.  Jet black calf and she isually throws everything with a brown tint like her.

Looks like Rodgers bought in on Daddys Money.  Wondering how Daddys Money comparez to Drivin 80.
