Good morning to all, I would like to say thanks before I get started asking a question.  I appreciate everyones feed back.

I was wondering everyone's take on these 2 bulls as far as using them on heifers.  What are the pro's and con's about Data bank and High Style?  Would you be worried about using either of these 2 on heifers?

Thanks in advance.

I asked about data bank this fall. The answer I got is that he was ok on maternal bred hfrs but not clubby bred ones. I really like the bull and his progeny but will wait til to use him on 2nd calvers. I err on the side of caution with hfrs. Jmo

Griswold's have said that Databank is ok to use on 1st calf heifers, but only if they are big bodied, broody maternal bred cattle.  High Style is listed as calving ease, but I would probably call Chris Terembes and ask what they are seeing for birthweight.  I know that Moore's in Illinois used him a lot and they could probably provide you some insight as well.
