Dehorning

We've got a couple heifers that we'll be having the vet dehorn. How many days do you wait to begin messing with them. These heifers are pretty quiet and tie broke, washed once, but haven't been led much.

We were told that if they walk with no issues and you don't babe pull hard you'll be fine but we were told a week if they have trouble walking.
