Just a quick pasture pic of one that will be available in September. Was wondering if anyone else had used him

I did. Have 2 real nice heifers out of him. One out of an Angus cow the other by almost famous. Very consistent. The calves have a ton of vigor at birth. Really hairy. Heard that losings have a great steer in south Dakota.

Sorry,  also meant to say I raised him, but I do really like his calves. Using him again this year.

Well, then the smart thing to do is probably not use him on heifers just to make sure.  This is his first calf crop and you cant really tell what his birthweights are just from one year.

had 4 Malibu calves this spring all out of cows.
3 were moderate and 1 was little.
he would not seem to be a cow killer by any means but agree with above,
you do not use an unproven bull ever on heifers.

The Malibu calves I've heard of were consistently around 85 lbs. A few around 70 a few around 100 depending on the pedigree of the cow. Paul Grace is breeding quite a few heifers to him this year.
