I have a Dirty Hairy cow. I am so surprised at how small she throws calves. She herself is a big gal but always has small calves that grow out and are moderate and stout. Really like her disposition as well.

NIce calf- looks like there is some natural thickness. and bone.

Mom is out of Carnac. She's got a ton of bone but no maternal instinct. Love his bone. His bone is thicker than our 1 month old shorthorn plus.

We have a Dirty Harry 2 cow and she has been great.  Lots of frame and never has trouble calving and has been an excellent mother from the beginning.  Never touched either calf and her first calf is in our replacement pen.  She is out of a Full Flush x Total Play cow, so she has lots of frame, not that deep sided or powerful; however, she is as long as a freight train.  Have another DH2 heifer that was a non breeder, but out of a Totally Tuned Cow and her phenotype is just the opposite, but much more powerful.  Had a DH2 Steer that we showed 2 years ago out of the same Totally Tuned cow and he was large boned and powerful, probably the largest butted steer we have ever shown.  The picture is of the DH2 Cow.
