The ones that i have seen that had issues. Usually were in the front end. Some toed out really bad and a tick straight. But, if your cows are sound you should be okay.

OH Breeder is correct that most of the issues with Alias come up front. Most of them tend to toe out at least a little bit, however I have seen quite a few that were very sound as well. Most of the one's I have seen came from Jerry Adamson in Nebraska. He has used a lot of Alias in the past few years and I'm sure like any bull can throw some criples but if mated to the right type of cow the calves will turn out good. Another issue that I have seen with a few Alias's is their inability to finish or put on the correct amount of fat over their ribs. Don't know if anyone else has seen this but just food for thought.

Without seeing them, my first guess is that your Alias calves out of Angus cows will be just fine.  Most of the problems I've heard of involved Alias on crossbred cows.  They just get too much muscle and too tightly wound.

I agree with chambero.  Angus usually have way of straightening out front end issues.
