Double Stuff- Calving ease? Opinions?

Double Stuff... we've only used one straw, and had heifer...  she's a whale of a cow, she's awesome...

I know he has also been the go to guy in the begginning of club calf shorthorns...  How's his calving ease?  Could be, or ever been used on heifers?  What's everyone's opinions on him, and his sons/ daughters...  I know that he's double dirty, BUT =that doesn't bother me!!

I have been using AHL Lucky Ralph-Gizmo on DoubleStuffs full sister-they are not huge at birth-and are thicker than Stuffs-yet correct. I calved a  bunch of Double stuffs back in the 90's and there is  no way i would use him on a first calf heifer.  Some of them can come big and not only that they are thick from the shoulders on back.  Just like one of his sons double vision those dont come little either.

He did make good steers make sure you use him on a sound cow with some depth.

wouldnt use him on heifers.  the heifers make tremendous cows for the clubby shorthorn deal.  steers are stylish with hair also! yes he is double dirty, but you gotta take that along with good genetics sometimes!

Who can remember the original K- bull pamplet that Christy done for Dean with Double Stuff, Throttle, Takin Names, Witch Doctor, Meyer 734 and it seems like a couple more.  I can remember when Dean delivered the semen to my door himself when they were first out new.  That pamplet had some  "professional MODELS" on the back cover with bull caps and not much more on. lol  One of the MOST EFFECTIVE pieces of propaganda ever distributed in our industry!

The same day I discovered Double Vision (although I have remained silent until Now) We went sown to the bull stud and looked at Double Stuff- he was just a good old boy-and bigger than youd think-his full sib was in the next stall and was just a runt-but he was used in North Dakota and they got some really good ones. according to ASA site, his name was AHL Extra Stuff 5something??...  I forgot... but he was 2 years younger..  Maybe I'm wrong...
