What kind of birth weights have you all seen out DR. WHO?  Would like you use him on an Angus X Irish Whiskey(son) heifer that will calve as a two year old.  Her mother has always had peanuts--figure it has passed to her but I just want a calf out of her the first time.  Dr. Who will help out most if not all of her shortcomings but not sure of his calving ease.  Thanks for any response.

We have had luck breeding him to a handful of carefully selected simmy based 1st calf hfrs, but he sure isn't sure fire calving ease. We have never had a huge one out of him on any cow, but have helped a few on hfrs. He can work, but I wouldn't suggest breeding him to tooo many first timers.

I have also used him on 1st calf heifers. Only one year. I would try NI. I think that he may breed similar to Dr. Who in a much easier calving package that has been tried and is true.
