Their sale magazine says that tag 1 is a Northern Improvement X Doctor Who/Macho heifer but that she's bred to Doctor Who? Why would you breed a heifer back to a bull that is that close in her genetics?

I was wondering the same thing...I see this every once in a while and it always gets me.

Linebreeding works in some cases. This is pretty close in the bloodline, if it works its awesome, maybe its worth the risk, but its up to them.
