One of the few good things about the heat / drought this year was it gave me most of October to do a couple of things that I (or my spouse) wanted to do, that I usually could not do as I was in the combine.

I got to:
Go to an Angus sale I always miss....
Take my wife to California to a Wedding....
Clean those dead trees out of the grove.

What about you?  Has the warm weather and the early harvest in the central part of the country helped anyone else?

I do apologize to those effected by huricane Sandy for this topic...

although the drought probably did not effect us as badly in michigan but the crops looked real poor all year and as it turned out we did better than ever on them! wheat went over 100 bushels and sold it for a record price, our worst corn went 170 bushel and our best over 200. also sold that for a great price and our beans were just barely above average for us, only thing that suffered was our hay crop. we did get to go to a couple extra sales that we normally wouldnt and went out of state to look at some cattle  ;D
