I recently read article about the Epps Biting fly trap (www.horselineproducts.com). The article was singing the praises of how well it works.  Has anyone used it or know of anyone who has. All the testimonials on the web site are from Horse people, I'd  love to have something that would control the flys on 20 acres but am rather skeptical.

I saw you request for info on the Epps Biting Fly Trap...We have had several in use for the past 6 years and they work wonderful.  I have 2 in permanent positions and the third is on a trailer so I can move it with my cattle rotation.  We would have 100+  horse flies on the steers now we have only a couple.  I did notice that horn flies that are on the belly are less but still have to deal with them.  If you clean the trap out every few days it works great.  The only maintaince is the (2) clear plastic sheets that I have to replace everyother year less than $20.00, you can't beat that.
