Peer Pressure X Direct Hit  = 1 bull
Peer Pressure X Ali          = 1 heifer
All very nice, hair, thick, big boned and correct footed.....already bred them all back. BTW, was surprised how my HW made enough milk for both of them.

Your last calf out of Proud Augustus? How did she come? The pictures of the bull I saw he looked kind of light. Maybe more of a female bull?

She was 93lbs unassisted out of what I will call a moderate framed cow.
I do believe that he will be able to sire both good females and Bulls. We have a better heifer yet out of him but have not been able to get a pic with the crappy weather. My daughter will possibly show an Proud Augustus steer next year. We ended up steering EVERY bull calf form him. We bought possession on him to breed our heifers because of his 77lb BW and his sire. Diid not go well. After a story I heard a few months ago I am really wondering about his unassisted BW?? We have heard that no one else has had troubles so if we are the "ONLY" ones that did I am not sure why because we used him on quite a few different cow families. One calf was steered at aprox 95 days and weighed 415lbs. He was born unassissted but after our best cow had a calf come out the side from him we made the decesion we would not take the chance and put anyone else through what we ( mostly my wife) had to deal with. Even some of the lighter calves were not born unassisted.
We do like some of the heifers sired by him but he will not walk our pastures again. Maybe we should can all the calves with the problem we had or maybe it was just a fluke and we should put it under the "WONT BE THE LAST" file.
