Fall Calving Shorthorn Cows

I have two fall calving shorthorn cows that I am wanting to sell.  I am trying to get on an all spring calving schedule.  They are both good producing cows they have calves on them now and may be bred back shorthorn or crossbred to herefords.  I don't know for sure which bull will have bred them until they calf and see what they look like.  I will sell them as pairs or just the cows, whichever you prefer.  This picture is of the one cow from the summer before calving.  She is out of Robin Lee and was champion heifer at VA beef expo in her show days.  If you are interested email at [email protected] Located in Virginia. Here are some pictures from yesterday.  Some have contacted me and I have given prices so I will just let everyone know.  I am debating on getting rid of almost all of my shorthorn cows and just buying embryos.  I have other pairs from the spring I am willing to sell, but they will be 2nd and 3rd time cows with calves and the prices will be higher.  All calves on these cows are out of a Double Down Son and cows are out of more poplular bulls.

All of the herd is still for sale had someone come today and they let on like they wanted four pair but said they wanted to pay commercial prices for them.  Couldn't let them go to someone who wasn't going to use them for their papers.  Pairs at the stockyard bring $1,300 here and they were wanting to pay $1,000 for by best and youngest cows.
