I am feeding a Maine heifer and was giving her Kalmbach heifer feed, I seen that she needed more gut so I added beet pulp. that seems to have worked but I was wondering what I needed to get her to fill all the holes. she has plenty of belly but she seems to sink in on her sides a little bit. she is getting 18-20lbs of feed a day (9-10 am and 9-10 pm) any suggestions would be appreciated.

Kalmbach makes a product called Filler Up that will fill those areas in for show day.  Start feeding about 5 days before show day in both feedings.  Should do the trick.  ;D

1 lb per feeding per head..  At least that's what we do :)  We really like it and Kalmbach feed has done us well...  the heifer feed is also great for maintaining a steer that you aren't ready to push yet!!!
