I have a steer that has finished a month before his time, and i was wondering if i should feed him about half of his COB for now and fill in with oats. Beet pulp has been recommended, but i know my steer likes oats so he wouldnt need time to adjust to them,ect. I walk him, and also feed oxy explosion with the feed. I havnt given it to him for about a week, because i was told this would make him gain more weight. I want him to gain muscle,just not fat. Any tips and suggestions? Thanks!!
