I show Simmentals and I was just wondering what everyone else is feeding their show heifers? for example what is it called? corn? soybeans? silage? or special stuff? Also was wondering about what rations you use if you mix your feed and lastly if you change your feed rations as they mature... when do you like to switch them and what do you switch to. i know their is different feeding ideas for steers then heifers so please keep in mind I am showing heifers usually getting shown around 11 months old and older. Thank you all for any information and advice
