Just wondering what everybody is having success using.  I have used the common beet pulp, but what is everyone else using to get some gut.  I was also wondering how to add some more substance to a show heifer.  I am feeding the heck out of mine, but it just seems like she needs something else, maybe it will just come with time, but is anyone using anything to get some substance.  I am talking from a breeding heifer standpoint.
Thanks

If you are going to keep the heifer, the last thing you need is " her too fat" enough finish s one thing but don't go overboard.  You cut back on her future milking ability, and shorten her breeding lifes.
Use a lot of hay, hulls, beet pulp, and the chaff hay, has had some success.
