Can fluid flex be feed to a show steer? My has a swelled up hook was going to give him fluidflex. Or what would you give to help him?
 
YES!!!  And it works great. Get the one that has the higher dose of Glucosamine and also top dress pure MSM powder.

It's cheap, your steer will eat it, and it can be purchased at most ant farm supply store.

 
I know this is an old post, I did a forum search for Fluid Flexx (horse product).
Would you dose the same amount you would a horse?
Would the dosage be different for a steer?

Yes, it is a dose by weight so yes, same thing.  You really don't have to worry about giving them too much.  I don't see it as something that will kill one.  I see it as more of the type of thing that they won't eat if you get too carried away.
